swimming like a fish!

Susi and i found a swimming pool!!!!! I was adament today that I was going to go swimming.

After our trip to Heavenly Pool was postponed due to the heavy fog (which lasted all day actually), i took an hour long walk further down our main road of DongHouJie, came home, made some milkshakes, wrote a few letters, and watched the morning news... What are the papers saying about the US elections? Details!

Then i was on a mission to find a pool. Called around some hotels, asking for prices, etc...

Long story short, we found one that charges only 15 yuan each time (that is just a little over $2 CDN)! Susi and i bought a membership which we can share.

On top of that, there is a gym we can also use each time!!! THe pool is not too big, but there was only one other person in it, the showers are HOT and strong PRESSURE, they provide the slippers and towels (i bought a bathing cap, a must when swimming in China), and a locker.

Going home to cook a nice hot meal, do some reading, play guitar, and then going to go welcome the new teacher who is arriving late tonight: a fellow canadian from Ottawa!!!! Youppeee!!
