Happy Father's Day, Nova Scotia Style

To celebrate Father's Day, we started the day with a game of King Dominoes.

A really fun and simple game, with strategy, math and problem solving components. Highly recommended!

Then we feasted on a delicious brunch made by the owner of the B&B. He is a chef and it was so good to sit down and have a hot cooked breakfast!

We then went to The Ovens, a beautiful sea cliff trail that leads to the famous Ovens Sea caves.

With its unique geology and dramatic beauty, the Ovens Park saw the 1861 gold rush. Now it is a family-run campsite and park with a park and spectacular views. It also has a selection of ice cream and popsicles. Ask me how I know!

Happy Father's Day to every father out there. I feel incredibly blessed to have had strong male role models growing up, my own father being the most significant one. Now I am happy my kids have the same in their lives.

Thanks for the game Kyle!
